Boot Barn is set to open a new location in Riverbank’s Crossroads shopping center, taking over the space formerly occupied by Staples, which closed in mid-October. The new store, situated between Petco and Kohl’s, is expected to open sometime between mid and late January, according to an employee at the Modesto Boot Barn.

In preparation for its opening, Boot Barn will hold an open-interview hiring event on Wednesday, Dec. 10. The event will take place at the Courtyard by Marriott located at 2955 Grewal Parkway in Modesto from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
