The International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers (IAM) is now accepting registrations for its upcoming Women’s Leadership Program and Advanced Women’s Leadership Program, both set to take place in March 2026 at the William W. Winpisinger Education and Technology Center in Hollywood, Maryland.

The Women’s Leadership Program will run from March 1 to March 6, 2026. It aims to encourage union members to become more active within their local chapters and districts. The program focuses on building leadership skills as well as developing abilities in organizing, parliamentary procedure, political and legislative involvement, strategic planning, and network building.

For those who have already completed the initial program, the Advanced Women’s Leadership Program will be held from March 15 to March 20, 2026. This course is intended for participants ready to further develop their leadership capabilities by expanding on previously learned skills in similar areas.

According to IAM, “Women’s Leadership Programs equip IAM sisters with the tools and confidence needed to lead effectively at every level of the union and to strengthen solidarity across our membership.”

Registration details are outlined in the official call letter, which also includes information about tuition, transportation, and curriculum. Members must use the Departmental Program Registration Form to register. The deadline for registering for the Women’s Leadership Program is January 21, 2026. The deadline for the Advanced Women’s Leadership Program is February 11, 2026.

Members seeking more information are encouraged to contact the IAM Women’s & Young Workers Department at 301-967-4747.

IAM urges eligible members to participate in these educational programs as part of efforts toward a stronger and more inclusive organization.
