Los Banos police arrest suspect after bar shooting injures three

Los Banos police arrested a 19-year-old from Dos Palos in connection with a shooting that left three men injured early Saturday morning. According to authorities, Reis Willis was apprehended after attempting to leave the scene near a bar on the 500 block of I Street.

Police responded at approximately 12:14 a.m. following reports of gunfire during a disturbance. Officers found three adult male victims with gunshot wounds. All were transported to hospitals in the Modesto area for treatment. Police stated that one of the victims is believed to have life-threatening injuries.

The firearm suspected to have been used in the incident was recovered by officers. The Los Banos Police Department thanked the Merced County Sheriff’s Office for its assistance with the investigation.
