Famed comedian Marlon Wayans is scheduled to perform at the Gallo Center for the Arts in Modesto in late 2025. The appearance is a rescheduling of a show that was postponed from the current 2025-26 season, according to Chad Hilligus, CEO of the Gallo Center.
Wayans, known for his work as a comedian, actor, producer, writer and director, recently released his comedy special “Good Grief” on Amazon Prime Video. According to the Gallo Center’s website, it reached No. 1 on the platform during its first week.
Tickets for Wayans’ stand-up show are priced between $45 and $105. The performance is set for 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 9.
The center has also added two other major acts to its schedule: Mexican pop singer Fey and Stockton native Chris Isaak. A Facebook post by the Gallo Center described Fey as “one of the most influential singers in the history of Spanish-language music.” She will bring her “Hits Tour,” celebrating her 30th anniversary, to Modesto for her first performance at the venue at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, March 27. Tickets range from $52 to $98 and go on sale to the public at 10 a.m. Friday.
Chris Isaak will perform at 5 p.m. Sunday, March 1. Isaak is recognized for songs such as “Wicked Game,” “Somebody’s Crying” and “Baby Did a Bad, Bad Thing,” as well as starring in “The Chris Isaak Show” on Showtime and other projects over his four-decade career. Tickets are available from $75 to $125.
The Gallo Center is located at 1000 I St., Modesto. More information about these shows and ticket sales can be found at www.galloarts.org.
