Stanislaus County is currently hiring for a range of positions in sectors such as environmental resources and health care. Both full-time and part-time roles are available, with benefits for full-time employees that include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance.

The county’s Employee Choice Bonus Plan offers eligible full-time new hires either a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 over three years or 21 additional days of paid leave if hired by June 30, 2026.

Job openings as of October 14 include:

– Accountant III: Responsible for managing financial operations, preparing reports, overseeing staff, reviewing regulations, assisting with budgets, and maintaining fiscal records.
– Behavioral Health Plan and Provider Relations Manager: Oversees behavioral health programs and ensures mental health and drug treatment services meet local and state standards.
– Behavioral Health Specialist: Provides support and counseling to clients using behavioral health services; connects clients with community resources and runs support groups.
– County Veterinarian: Delivers medical care to shelter and public animals, focuses on spay/neuter services, controls animal diseases, enforces animal health laws.
– Crime Analyst: Manages crime data analysis to support investigations and crime prevention; develops research methods and trains others on data analysis systems.
– HR Management Consultant: Supports various departments with human resources needs; ensures policies are applied across all programs.
– Landfill Lead Worker: Supervises daily landfill operations including waste disposal staff; operates heavy equipment and conducts site inspections.
– Mental Health Clinician III: Oversees mental health and substance use programs; ensures compliance with regulations and provides staff training.
– Pediatric Physical Therapist: Assists children and young adults (birth to age 21) with physical disabilities; therapy may occur in clinics or off-site locations like schools or homes.
– Probation Corrections Officer I & II: Supervises youth in custody at Juvenile Hall or alternative programs; assists with meal service, counseling youth, booking individuals.
