Kura Revolving Sushi Bar is set to open at Vintage Faire Mall in Modesto on Friday, November 14. The new restaurant will be located at 3401 Dale Road, next to Men’s Warehouse and across from the Apple Store. The establishment will offer a conveyor-belt sushi experience, featuring menu items such as sushi, ramen, tempura, and desserts.

A “Bikkura Pon” prize system will be available for diners. According to a news release, customers can earn rewards for every 15 plates placed in the disposal slot at their table. On opening day, the first 150 guests will receive Kura-branded T-shirts and other promotional items. Additionally, five Kura Rewards members who dine between November 14 and 17 will have the chance to win “Kura Sushi for a year.”

Santa Claus is also scheduled to arrive at Vintage Faire Mall ahead of Christmas. From November 7 through Christmas Eve, visitors can meet Santa for free; photo packages are available for purchase. To minimize wait times, the mall recommends booking visits in advance at whereissanta.com.

On specific dates—November 10, November 17, November 24, December 1, and December 8—leashed dogs and cats may accompany families between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. for photos with Santa.

In partnership with Autism Speaks, the mall will host a Santa Care event for children with special needs on December 7 from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m., which requires reservations.
